Silica sand is a material suitable for surface treatment and renovation of heavy steel structures, stone, brick, prefabricated concrete, etc. by the abrasive blasting method. Silica sand is recommended as blasting material mainly for mobile pressure vessels. It is distinguished by high abrasive properties, lower consumption and dustiness. All silica sand fractions offered by us are of the highest quality and meet the FEPA standard and are ISO:9001-2000 certified.

Fractions:

  • grain size 0,1 - 0,6 mm: for fine work, blasting steel, bricks, car parts
  • grain size 0.3 - 0.8 mm: coarser work, heavy steel structures, weldments
  • grain size 0.6 - 1.2 mm: very rough work with possible surface damage
