Interchangeable 15 MHz precision ultrasonic probe for PosiTector® for wall thickness measurement of various materials such as steel, plastic, aluminium and others. Ideal for measuring the thickness of thin wall materials on parts that are difficult to measure by conventional means. For example, wall thickness of containers, mouldings, large parts. The ultrasonic probe is mounted on a cable for easy handling. The probe is suitable for measuring through a layer of paint, the paint does not need to be removed. The probe itself detects the coating thickness and subtracts it from the total measured thickness. The probe is sealed, allowing measurements underwater. The package includes a calibration certificate and 120 ml of binding gel.
