Interchangeable 5 MHz ultrasonic probe for PosiTector® for measuring wall thickness of various materials such as steel, plastic, aluminium and others through the coating layer. Ideal for measuring material thickness on large parts where conventional gauges cannot reach, corrosion losses inside closed vessels and other applications. The ultrasonic probe is mounted on a cable for easy handling. The probe head is made of abrasion-resistant Alumina material for long life, especially when scanning. The advantage of the probe is the ability to measure through the coating layer, the coating does not need to be removed before measurement. The probe is sealed, allowing measurements underwater. The package includes a calibration certificate and 120 ml of binding gel.
