Interchangeable economical probe for PosiTector® for measuring non-magnetic coatings on ferromagnetic (steel) substrates. The FT probe is designed for thicker coatings such as insulating, fireproofing and protective polymer, rubber or epoxy coatings. The probe is built into the body of the instrument making it very compact. The advantage of the FT probe is its unique design with a ruby contact surface, which increases the mechanical resistance of the probe and extends its lifetime by up to 2.5 times compared to competing probes. The package includes a calibration certificate and a set of calibration foils.
