Hempadur 45143 is a two-component, polyamide adduct cured epoxy coating with good wetting properties and low water permeability. It is self-priming, producing a hard and tough coating that has good resistance to abrasion and impact, seawater, mineral oils, aliphatic hydrocarbons and staining by gasoline or similar products. The cured coating is harmless to the cost of the crop. Complies with EU Directive 2004/42/EC on the limitation of emissions of volatile organic compounds: subcategory j. The coating is compact and compatible with Hempel's Multi-Tint® system.

Recommended use:

1/ As a high build primer, undercoat and/or topcoat in a (heavy corrosive environment) coating system as specified. (As a topcoat where the properties of epoxy topcoats are accepted).

2/ For repair and overhaul work for applications at temperatures above -10°C/15°F on cargo hold doors, decks, inside cargo holds, etc. Hempadur 45143 is designed for use in cold climates, Hempadur 45141 for use in warm climates.
