The GRITCO® BM-ECO series blast pressure vessels are the most efficient on the market. Especially when the blast boiler is placed under the silo of the recycling unit, and is used for spot repairs or (semi-)automatic systems. Use with multiple abrasive outlets is also possible. After the container is filled with abrasive, it is first pressurized by the operator to put it into standby mode. This is done by automatic valves that are controlled by a switch on the machine or on the hose lines. The actual start/stop blasting is remotely controlled by a dead man's clutch. The jet air valve is opened together with the normally closed Thompson valve II. This prevents unpleasant abrasive blasting as with conventional blast boilers. As the container itself is already under pressure, the abrasive reaches the transport speed almost immediately. To refill the abrasive, the blast boiler only needs to be decompressed. This saves compressed air and leads to much less wear on the decompression valve. GRITCO® BM-ECO blast pressure vessels are available in capacities of 18, 40, 60, 100, 160, 200 and 300 litres.
