A two-component, cold cured vinyl-ester-acrylic copolymer filled with special glass microflakes. This product is identical to Polyglass VE, but with the difference that it is thixotroped with polyethylene fibers, which will cause a slightly rougher final surface appearance, but more importantly will improve the cohesion of the material when applied in larger wet thicknesses and also increase resistance to chemicals. A coating specially formulated for submersion environments where perfect chemical resistance is required. Polyglass VEF is suitable for a range of chemical environments across the pH range, with excellent resistance to demineralised water and good resistance to a range of solvents. It is also used in aggressive atmospheres, in environments with the possibility of chemical spills and in applications in contact with drinking water. Designed for airless spray application. Available shades: off white or translucent brown. Other colours are available on request, but the addition of pigment can adversely affect chemical resistance and colour fastness.
