For trouble-free blasting, the compressed air must be as dry as possible. The GRITCO® AFTER COOLER range of aftercoolers is designed to provide the best possible compressed air for small, medium or large blasting systems. To prevent clogging of the blast vessel, ensure a smooth, continuous flow of abrasive with less disturbance and wear by using an aftercooler. The compressed air needs to be cooled (approximately 9 °C above ambient temperature). This drop in temperature causes the water to condense and form droplets. These droplets are removed by the centrifugal separator of the aftercooler. For even better clean air results, optional compressed air filters can be fitted to remove oil and other contaminants.

The cooler is equipped with an air motor for easy use anywhere. For stationary use or to save compressed air, a 240 V electric motor is available. Connection to the compressor battery is possible with a 12 V DC motor on smaller models.
