Detailed description

VARIABLE XP series screw compressors are the optimal solution for providing the right amount of compressed air when compressed air demand fluctuates. With the integrated frequency converter, the specially designed motor runs only as fast as necessary to generate the required amount of compressed air. Expensive idle times and excessive compression are now a thing of the past. The device is therefore the right solution for a highly efficient compressed air supply. In the development of the new VARIABLE XP series, the optimization of the cooling airflow has further increased the reliability and durability of the components. With extra strong sound insulation, the system can also be installed where noise levels are critical.

Market analysis shows that on average compressors have a utilisation rate of only around 50-70%. However, the maximum supply air volume is only necessary at peak times. So we have developed ALMiG SCD technology, whose benefits come to the fore in part-load applications - exactly where they are needed.
SCD stands for Speed Controlled and Direct drive and is an integrated drive concept with maximum cost efficiency.

Energy savings of up to 35% can be achieved by:

speed control
constant system pressure, adjustable from 5 to 13 bar
extremely high efficiency of the device
no switching on or switching off at maximum load
avoiding costly idling conditions
