The abrasive blasting slag AMT® meets the most stringent criteria for abrasive materials. Its properties i.e. especially its hardness define it as a very effective abrasive, capable of replacing the most used abrasive so far - silica sand. The possibility of multiple use then reduces the costs considerably. Due to its composition, the material is environmentally friendly. According to many independent tests that have been carried out, AMT® is inert, i.e. does not react with other substances and thus cannot affect the environment. The material is supplied in three fractions.

Fractions:

  • AMT 1 - grain size 0 - 1 (mm), backfill material, aluminium blasting, blasting of soft natural aggregates, filler for concrete and dry mortar mixes
  • AMT 2 - grain size 0,2 - 1,6 (mm), blasting of steel structures, pipes, blasting of soft natural aggregates, filler for concrete and dry mortar mixes
  • AMT 3 - grit 0,2 - 1,8 (mm), blasting of heavily corroded OK and pipes, concrete rehabilitation, decorative blasting, filler for concrete and dry mortar mixes
